Ménière's Woman.
When life gives you lemons ...
Insightful. Practical. Real.
It's time to have a Ménière's disease book written by a woman! Researchers have uncovered countless ways in which women's and men's bodies react differently to the same diseases, due to our hormones. There is A LOT that female bodies to go through during a hormonal cycle, a stark contrast to the experience of the male body. Welcome to Ménière's Woman. A book that dares to enter into the zone where no male Ménière's disease author will venture. Grab a seat, and a cup of tea or coffee, and hit the pages. Let's explore our Secret Women's Business. There's a 12 month period and Ménière's disease symptom tracker, research and discussions about Ménière's disease and pregnancy, welcoming the new baby and medication, looking after kids, perimenopause, menopause, Ménière's disease burnout, tinnitus, hearing loss, healing from Ménière's trauma, as well as Ménière's disease treatments, a Ménière's management plan, mindset, anxiety, self-care, and more. It's time to honor us. Women with Ménière's disease.
Profits donated to Ménière's disease research.
Meniere's women. This post is for us. I've had some people asking me about menstrual cycles and its effect on MD symptoms because of the book I wrote for us. For you, I have added a PDF in the file section at the top of the pages for you to download excerpts from the book on this subject. I hope the information empowers you to help you through these changes our bodies go through. XOX

"It will change your life", Julieann's new book has now been released. Julieann, as most of you will agree, is a true advocate for our world so a big thank you to Julieann for the work she does. FYI 100% of her profits go to Meniere's Research.
Julieann explains:
“I’m excited to release my new book - ‘It Will Change Your Life - a cochlear implant journey’.
This is my journey to getting back something the Meniere’s Monster stole from me over my 27 years of Meniere's. My journey to hearing again. It’s my heart's story. My fears. My anxieties. My doubt. My questioning. My appointments. My reactions. My debilitating Ménière’s disease. My success, and my hearing addiction.
I am beyond thankful for my cochlear implant. It has given me a new found freedom I thought I would never have again.
The colour tabs picture is where I talk about my Meniere’s disease in the book, to raise awareness and understanding about our disease. It is my prayer and hope that my book may help others.
The print book is available at online bookstores, and the eBook (which is much cheaper) is on Amazon. You can also ask your library to order in a copy!
100% profits are donated to Meniere’s research at the Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, where they have a dedicated Meniere’s research team.
Thank you to my family, friends and colleagues who helped me through this amazing journey.
So thankful.”

Arthur of Spice Road Spices is committed to help those with Meniere’s disease on their salt free meal journey.
As we have enough stress dealing with Meniere’s disease and don’t need the added stress of “What can we eat that is salt free and tastes good?” If you are cooking for family or others, do you want to cook two separate meals adding to your stress?
A good way to help reduce the stress in cooking is to share ideas and recipes. The more you learn about herbs, spices and spice blends you will find that food actually tastes great without salt. In fact, once you stop using salt in your cooking, you won’t want to use it again.
Experimenting when cooking is trial and error but you eventually you will find out what you like and what you don’t like. It’s really a fun process.
On a regular basis I will provide you with a link to the Spice Road Spices’ blog. This blog is educational with free recipe suggestions and good ideas. If you are familiar with herbs and spices you may want to contribute comments and recipe ideas yourself!
Arthur is truly committed to help you ease the stress that comes with “cooking with no salt”.
