Letters to Meniere's is a global collection of letters, poems and artworks from people with Meniere's Disease.
These contributions are honest, raw, real and some are funny. This book is Meniere's!
- It is a collection of works that come from our heart and our emotions.
- It's a work that gave our community the opportunity to vent.
- These works will bring tears to your eyes but also make you laugh.
How do we explain what it is like to live with Meniere’s? It's very difficult for our loved ones to understand our world. This book is not only for us dizzies but also for family, friends, colleagues and medical practitioners or anyone who has heard of Meniere’s Disease but do not know what it is.
Reading these letters will give them a glimpse into our Meniere's world and the impact it has on our lives.

“I’m excited to release my new book - ‘It Will Change Your Life - a cochlear implant journey’.
This is my journey to getting back something the Meniere’s Monster stole from me over my 27 years of Meniere's. My journey to hearing again. It’s my heart's story. My fears. My anxieties. My doubt. My questioning. My appointments. My reactions. My debilitating Ménière’s disease. My success, and my hearing addiction.
I am beyond thankful for my cochlear implant. It has given me a new found freedom I thought I would never have again.
The colour tabs picture is where I talk about my Meniere’s disease in the book, to raise awareness and understanding about our disease. It is my prayer and hope that my book may help others.
The print book is available at online bookstores, and the eBook (which is much cheaper) is on Amazon. You can also ask your library to order in a copy!
100% profits are donated to Meniere’s research at the Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, where they have a dedicated Meniere’s research team.
Thank you to my family, friends and colleagues who helped me through this amazing journey.

Arthur of Spice Road Spices is committed to help those with Meniere’s disease on their salt free meal journey.
As we have enough stress dealing with Meniere’s disease and don’t need the added stress of “What can we eat that is salt free and tastes good?” If you are cooking for family or others, do you want to cook two separate meals adding to your stress?
A good way to help reduce the stress in cooking is to share ideas and recipes. The more you learn about herbs, spices and spice blends you will find that food actually tastes great without salt. In fact, once you stop using salt in your cooking, you won’t want to use it again.
Experimenting when cooking is trial and error but you eventually you will find out what you like and what you don’t like. It’s really a fun process.
On a regular basis I will provide you with a link to the Spice Road Spices’ blog. This blog is educational with free recipe suggestions and good ideas. If you are familiar with herbs and spices you may want to contribute comments and recipe ideas yourself!
Arthur is truly committed to help you ease the stress that comes with “cooking with no salt”.
