We all need support! 


We have some established support groups as well as people who are happy to be an ear to a dizzy in their local area.  If you would like to star a group or reach out to a local please write to me:

NEXT SENSE - Social Meetups

Sunday BBQ and Thursday Morning Tea 


CICADA Australia Inc is a registered charity and volunteer organisation helping the hearing impaired.  This is a cochlear implant support group  for recipients of cochlear implants.  It's an opportunity for them to meet them to meet face to face.  


Family and friends of recipients are always welcome.


Venue: 

Next Sense, Building 39 Old Gladesville Hospital Entry is from Punt Rd, Gladesville, NSW


THURSDAY MORNING TEA:  First Thursday of every month from February to October 

Time:   10.30 am to 12pm
SUNDAY BBQ’s  - With guest speakers

Newcastle and region

Venue:  Zara’s House - Refugees and Partners Building, 1A Hill Street - Jesmond. 


DATE:  SATURDAY 4 FEBRUARY, 2023


TIME:   10.00 to 12.00 midday


(The building is a former church and Church Hall, directly opposite Jesmond Park and easily accessed off Newcastle Road)


There is onsite parking for around 10 vehicles and street parking close by. There is also a bus stop just below the venue, on Newcastle Road and buses 11 and 12 stop there, I will check if other local buses also stop there.  


In line with current requirements to public buildings - there will be a form to sign on entry, hand sanitiser and a thermometer to ensure health safety.
